The VPU and internal microphone can easily be connected via the Electronic Communication Port (ECP) on the mask. The VPU must be used with the Voice Projection Unit Microphone or Microphone Assembly. The Voice Projection Unit and Microphone Assembly are intrinsically safe and conform to UL Std. 913 Class I, II, III Div.I Gr. A - G, T4. This item does not have an ATEX approval.
