The unique design of the tip not only allows phenomenal barrier penetration, but it is amazingly dynamic when encountering tissue. Hollow point designs tend to under-penetrate unless they fail to open and over penetrate. Since the APC does not deform, it has a scientifically designed and failsafe wounding mechanism, as well as a reliable method to limit over penetration unlike any other round capable of penetrating armor. The APC has little to no deflection in auto glass. Although the muzzle velocity and energy are extremely high for the caliber, this round has noticeably reduced felt recoil and muzzle climb during full auto fire.
