The Hipercomp™ 556 from Hiperfire® is an AR-15 compensator that really delivers excellent reduction of felt recoil - and looks sharp doing it. Yes, the AR’s .223/5.56 round isn’t exactly a hard kicker, but there is enough recoil to slow you down in getting the sights back on the target, especially during strings of rapid-fire shots. In competition, military/LE operations, or a self-defense scenario, that delay can lead to big problems for you. The Hipercomp’s "vectored exhaust" carefully directs expanding exhaust gases to counteract felt recoil muzzle rise and give you a critical edge in speed.
The High PERformance COMPensator 556C has an extended lip on the bottom (when properly installed and timed) that helps prevent kicking up dust and debris when shooting prone. The Hipercomp 556CQ has a four-pronged tip that can function as an emergency impact weapon in close-quarters combat.
