Spydercos Bradley Bowie is an extremely versatile, all-purpose fixed-blade knife design that incorporates the performance advantages of state-of-the-art spray-formed tool steel. Designed by Gayle Bradley, a custom knifemaker and former competitive cutting champion, it reflects both his intimate understanding of cutting mechanics and his deep passion for high-performance steels. The iconic Bowie-style blade of this knife is precision machined from PSF27an incredibly tough spray-formed tool steel with an ultra-fine, extremely homogenous grain structure.
To take full advantage of the superior performance characteristics of this steel, the stout 4mm (.156-inch) thick blade is full-flat ground to produce a thin, strong edge and superior cross-sectional geometry. This grind, together with a handsome straight swedge (unsharpened bevel) on the spine reduce cutting friction and ensure excellent point utility. The Bradley Bowies handle features ergonomically contoured, polished G-10 scales secured to the full tang with stout tubular rivets. It is complemented by a prominent integral lower guard to ensure excellent control and hand protection. For ease of carry, the Bradley Bowie comes complete with a custom-molded Boltaronsheath with a fully configurable G-Clip attachment.
