The original Street Scalpel has been around for quite a few years now. There are a number of reasons that LEOs, active duty military, and everyday citizens love it. Made using 3/16" stock instead of 1/4", the 2.0 will be a better slicer, but still have plenty of strength for those tougher jobs. The sheath has been changed to allow multiple carry options including appendix, IWB, OWB, scout, or any way else you can think of by rearranging the included beta loop straps.
